Information on applying for temporary support of out-of-school foreign students
□ Target: Elementary/middle school age out-of-school children(born between January 2005 and December 2013), attending foreign schools, alternative schools, and so on with foreign nationality
- Children attending foreign schools, alternative schools, and so on as of October 8th, 2020
- Application is made based on date of birth regardless of grade
- However, students enrolled in elementary/middle schools and those children who have received support(from September 28th to October 16th ) are all excluded
□ Payment Requirement(s): Payment are made only to those who have Certificate of Alien Registration(Alien Registration Card), passport, and bank account(※refer to the “required documents” below)
□ Payment Amount
☞ 200,000 won: Elementary school age(born between January 2008 and December 2013)
☞ 150,000 won: Middle school age(born between January 2005 and December 2012
□ Application Period: October 26th, 2020 to October 30th, 2020 < for 5 days)
□ How to Apply: Visit and submit the required documents at the district(local) office of education of the school where the child is attending ( a representative delegation is not allowed but can be accompanied by an interpreter)
□ Required Documents
- Application for children temporary support fund
- Passport(both child and guardian)
- Certificate of alien registration( both child and guardian must be present)
- Guardian’s Alien Registration Card(ARC)
- A copy of a bankbook in the name of the guardian or child
- Original copy of a proof of enrollment in school located in Chungnam as of October 8th
